Translation Pad is a simple application that lets you translate words, sentences or documents to other languages with just a click of a button. It supports most of the popular languages such as French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc as well as English. The user interface is easy to navigate so inexperienced computer users will have no problems with it at all.
Once the application is installed, all you need to do is type in the words or sentences you want to translate, select the translation type and choose the 'translate' option. It even lets you translate saved plain text documents. Also, you can save the translation for use at a later date.
One of the few problems with Translation Pad is the lack of options such as suggesting words to use, spell checking, etc. While most other translators have at least a few options, Translation Pad has none. This is not a major problem for most users, but it can be an inconvenience for the more experienced users.
Another issue is that it always needs to be connected to the internet for a translation to occur. This is also not a major problem for most users, but for those with troublesome connections, it is a hassle.
Overall, Translation Pad is a simple application that novice users will find handy but experienced users will find bothersome.
